18.5 hours per week across a Monday to Friday service

Pay rate: £24.14 - £28.36

Hertfordshire Community Trust are seeking a passionate Band 6 or Band 7 Occupational Therapist to bring their expertise to its well established and supportive multi-disciplinary therapy team. Working on a long-term contract, youll thrive on finding strategies to meet a range of patient specific needs and goals, whilst providing exceptional care that supports our mature patients on their journey to greater independence. Main duties of the job

To ensure evidence informed practice and practice development within Hertfordshire Neurological Service (HNS) and the Acquired Brain Injury (ABI) team in conjunction with the ABI lead and professional lead for occupational therapy.

To provide highly specialist occupational therapy assessment, diagnosis and treatment for patients with neurological rehabilitation needs, and to provide expert advice, guidance and information to health and social care professionals, carers and relatives and other relevant staff and organisations.

To support the ABI lead in the development of the service to ensure integrated working with partnership organisations.
