About the Trust

Main duties of the job
Take responsibility for ensuring Administrators process referrals promptly, in accordance with procedures, and that patients are offered first choice of appointments within the timescales specified by Department of Health guidelines.
Obtain the income for authorisations for assessments and treatment within National and Specialist
CAMHS Outpatients. This will involve liaising NHSE, with commissioners at CCGs and other funders, such as social services, local authorities and solicitors.
Obtain and maintain a working knowledge of the Patient Journey System (ePJS) in order to ensure that data is recorded accurately across the outpatient service so that information can be retrieved for activity reporting and monitoring.
Responsible for the effective and efficient operation of the secretarial/administrative support within the outpatient service.
