Job summary

We are welcoming applications from enthusiastic, experienced Activity Co-ordinator who enjoys a challenge and wants to develop their career in a busy NHS Foundation Trust.

Main duties of the job

To provide a diverse programme of activities for all inpatient patients on wards.

To provide activities to a group of patients. These activities will include prescribed therapeutic interventions including daily physical activity, health education, patient meetings and social, recreational and diversional activity groups.

To provide activities on and off the ward, accessing the local community as required.

To ensure core interventions from the patient group are delivered constantly for all patient groups

To regularly liaise with colleagues to discuss, plan and implement activities appropriate to the clinical area.

Pay Rates: £12.90 per hour exc WTD

Hours: Monday to Friday 37.5 hours per week

Recent experience working within an inpatient setting.
