Job summary

We are seeking a motivated and committed Registrar-level doctor with a strong background in Accident and Emergency Medicine. The ideal candidate will be available to undertake locum shifts throughout the month, providing flexible support to the department as required. Shift patterns will vary and may include daytime, night time, and twilight sessions.

Main duties of the job

  • Provide highquality assessment, diagnosis, and treatment to patients presenting with acute and emergency conditions.
  • Lead the initial management of critically unwell patients, including trauma, medical emergencies, and resuscitation cases.
  • Prioritise patient care effectively in a fastpaced environment, managing multiple cases simultaneously.
  • Perform and supervise relevant clinical procedures such as suturing, cannulation, sedation, fracture management, and pointofcare ultrasound .
  • Work across a range of shift patterns including day, night, and twilight shifts to meet service demand.
  • Adapt to fluctuating workloads and varying clinical pressures inherent in Emergency Medicine.
