Main duties of the job

- Undertake comprehensive assessments using advanced clinical reasoning and manual assessment techniques.
- Formulate, implement, and evaluate evidence-based treatment programmes, including manual therapy, facilitation of movement, patient education, and use of adjuncts.
- Communicate effectively with patients and carers, adapting your approach to overcome barriers such as hearing loss, altered perception, or language difficulties.
- Maintain accurate, timely, and comprehensive treatment records in line with professional standards.
- Represent the physiotherapy service in multidisciplinary team meetings, contributing to care planning and discharge decisions.
- Ensure safe and competent use of equipment, supporting junior staff to achieve competency before use.
