Job Title: - Interventional Radiology Nurse

Trust: - Croydon Health Services NHS Foundation Trust

Location: - Croydon

Pay Rate: Day:- £18.02 per hour

Sat/Nights:- £22.72 per hour

Sun/Bank Hols:- £28.96 per hour

Contract length: On going full time

Working hours: Monday to Friday 9-5

Essential :-

• Registered Nurse with the NMC
• Educated to degree/diploma level with the NMC
• Phlebotomy and cannulation
• IV drug administration

Desirable :-

• On-going education and development
• Support and development of new and junior staff
• Working towards degree
• Practice Assessor and Supervisor course

The role will involve, but not be limited to you performing the above.

Knowledge & Understanding:-

• Knowledge of data protection and confidentiality acts
• General awareness of current healthcare related issues
• Awareness of Radiation Protection

What youll need:

• Previous experience of working in an acute setting.
• Experience of supporting and monitoring post-surgical procedures
• IT skills (Microsoft office and excel. Electronic patient records, e.g. CERNER)
• Experience in Interventional Radiology, OPAT or venous access teams.

Qualifications

Essential

• A minimum of 6 months paid experience as Interventional Radiology Nurse within the hospitals in the last 3 years.
• Comply with NMC Professional Registration and keep up to date with current nursing practices.
