Main duties of the job

Key Responsibilities

As a Senior Clinical Audiologist Paediatric, you will be responsible for:

  • Clinical Management: Independently manage a diverse caseload of complex paediatric patients, performing advanced diagnostic tests (such as ABR, VNG, and behavioural assessments). Develop and implement tailored treatment plans, ensuring that each child receives the highest standard of care.
  • Professional Leadership: Provide expert clinical advice to other team members and healthcare professionals. Support and mentor junior staff, fostering a collaborative and motivating work environment.
  • Service Development: Lead service improvements and initiatives in line with best practices and evidence-based guidelines. Work closely with Audiology Managers to understand and respond to service needs.
  • Communication and Collaboration: Establish and maintain effective communication with patients, families, and multidisciplinary teams, including ENT specialists, speech and language therapists, and educational professionals.
