Job summary
We have flexible bank shifts and long-term placement opportunities available for HCPC registered Radiographers at University Hospital Southampton NHS Foundation Trust.
Main duties of the job
This role involves the day to day management of the radiotherapy patient workload. The normal department working hours include 7.5 hour shifts between the hours of 0700-2000 (Monday-Friday).

Key Duties & Responsibilities
- To lead the delivery of radiotherapy treatment.
- To calculate and record radiotherapy treatments accurately.
- To be responsible for the well-being and care of patients during their radiotherapy.
- Communicate effectively with patients to ensure their comfort and understanding during the imaging process
- Maintain accurate patient records and ensure confidentiality of medical information
- Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality diagnostic images
- Utilise IT systems for image processing and storage
