Shift Pattern: Monday to Friday 8.30-4.30pm/9.00-5.00pm
Up to 37.5 available, part time hours/flexible hours considered
Pay rate: £22.89-£26.88 excluding. holiday pay
The CYPIT team has an opportunity for an experienced band 6 Occupational Therapist to join the team based in Maidenhead.

Main duties of the job
- To focus on face to face assessments in clinic and school settings
- Take responsibility for a dedicated caseload and clinical role
- Carry out clinical assessments within your level of clinical knowledge and skill.
- Identify relevant therapy needs from which you can develop and deliver an individualised management plan, with support from a senior therapist as needed.
- Contribute to and deliver training to schools/early years setting, parents, CYP and staff, as part of therapy support and delivery.
- Contribute to the implementation and development of the impact-based model of clinical decision making.
- Work collaboratively with education, local authority, medical and nursing staff to ensure delivery of a coordinated integrated service along with Speech and Language Therapy and Physiotherapy colleagues.

Job description
You will hold a mixed caseload developing your clinical skills within early years, school age and special schools. You will need to have previous experience working with families from a wide variety of backgrounds and have an understanding of the diverse needs of children and young people.
You will collaborate across a multi-disciplinary team communicating with various parties to ensure that we deliver a seamless service. Understanding of the value of integrated services is essential. You will be expected to act as an ambassador for our service and will have excellent communication skills ensuring you are calm and confident, dealing with challenging situations.

HCPC Registration & Enhanced DBS
Essential Criteria
- Experienced in working with Paediatric caseload in community and excellent clinical decision making
- Car driver / owner able to travel to other locations within the trust using own vehicle (mileage paid)
- Enhanced DBS
Desirable Criteria
In addition to experience, all Qualified roles will be required to provide evidence of

- Registration with the relevant Registration Body if applicable.
