Location: Lister Hospital, Coreys Mill Lane, Stevenage SG1 4AB

Ward/Dept: Hand Therapy, Level 11B

Hours: Full time Up to 37.5 hours per week (parttime considered)

Shift Pattern: Mon-Fri, 8am-4pm

Pay Rates Day: £21.80

The integrated Musculoskeletal Service at Hertfordshire Community NHS Trust is looking to recruit a passionate Band 6 Hand Therapist, specialising in either Occupational Therapy or Physiotherapy to join the Hand Therapy Team based at Lister Hospital in Stevenage. This exciting opportunity will give you the opportunity to carry out assessment including splinting and rehabilitation, and evaluation of Hand Therapy patients with a variety of acute and chronic conditions, using a variety of tools and techniques.

Trauma referrals are received daily from busy Hand clinics and consultant teams within our Hand Therapy Unit. You will be seeing patients with a variety of acute and chronic conditions.

You will have regular informal/formal supervision with experienced senior therapists and will work as part of the wider community Musculoskeletal Service.

Perform advanced assessment and treatment of hands and plastics patients including splinting and rehabilitation programmes.
