What you'll be responsible for

• Act as a senior member and role model of the nursing team, setting and monitoring standards and expectations of quality of care.
• Promote and maintain a safe and comfortable environment with a pleasant and receptive environment for patients and their families.
• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate child/family centred care with consideration of individual ethnic, cultural, social, developmental and religious needs.
• Coordinate discharge planning, assessing patient and family needs on admission, document appropriate information and liaising with appropriate personnel as required.
• The role will involve, but not limited to you performing the above.

• A minimum of 6 months paid experience as a Band 6 Paediatric Nurse working in a UK based hospital environment specializing in paediatrics within the last 3 years.

Qualifications

• All Registered Nurse roles will be required to provide evidence of
• Statement of NMC Registration
• Degree /Diploma in Nursing
