The Role:
We are currently looking candidates for permanent role Band 6 MRI Radiographer area to join our amazing team.

NUH was established in 2006 following the merger of Nottingham City Hospital and Queens Medical Centre (QMC). We deliver district general services to 2.5m residents of Nottingham, Nottinghamshire, and its surrounding communities. Our specialist services allow us to deliver care to 4.5m people from across the East Midlands and nationally for a handful of services. QMC is where our Emergency Department (ED), Major Trauma Centre and the Nottingham Childrens Hospital are based. It is also home to the University of Nottinghams School of Nursing and Medical School. Nottingham City Hospital is our planned care site, where our cancer centre, heart centre and stroke services are based, and where some of our emergency admissions units are located. Ropewalk House is where we provide a range of outpatient services, including hearing services.

Ensure a quality service with a high standard of patient care with the outcome of a positive patient experience, and to comply with the Trusts Values and Behaviours as set out below.
Key Responsibilities
To undertake imaging procedures within area of specialty.
To maintain a high standard of work and to strive for continual improvements in radiographic standards and patient care.
To manipulate and maneuver radiographic equipment and patients in order to obtain high quality diagnostic images within the departments protocols and procedures.
To participate in the appropriate Band 6 rota system including out of hours and on-call duties as required by the Radiology Services Manager to cover service commitments.
To explain procedures to patients in order to facilitate their full understanding and co-operation throughout the examination.
To undertake the intravenous injection of contrast media in compliance with the Directorate protocol if required by their role.
