pre-assessment screening prior to theatre date.
- Be responsible for the
assessment of care needs, the planning, implementation and evaluation of
nursing care through assessment protocols as to whether the patient is
medically fit to undergo their operation/procedure
- The post holder will
identify actual and potential health problems, which may require referral to
consultant/medical/anaesthetic staff
- Supervise junior staff and to
participate in the teaching of students on both basic and post basic courses.
- Maintain his/her personal and professional development.
- Participate in
effective utilisation of resources.
- Act in accordance with the NMC
Professional Code of Conduct.

Pay Rates: Day -£14.92 Night-£19.40 Sunday/Bank Holiday £23.88Per hour.
Shift Pattern: 08:30-16:30
5 days a week 07:30 17:30 9 day fortnight 08:00-16:00 5 days a week.
07:30-13:30 5 days a week (30 hour contract)
