Main duties of the job

In this role you will be working as an autonomous clinician within the integrated learning disability team to meet the nutritional needs of clients with learning disabilities. The role entails undertaking a full nutritional assessment to create a dietetic care plan, as well as creating a plan and monitoring regimens for clients, and making appropriate adjustments. You will be providing inpatient services at Prospect Park, when necessary, but predominantly managing a clinical workload across Reading, Wokingham and Newbury community teams. You will be working in a multi-disciplinary team and alongside families and carers to provide a care plan and provide advice.

In this role you will be working as an autonomous clinician within the integrated learning disability team to meet the nutritional needs of clients with learning disabilities. Essential

  • Current relevant HCPC Registration and member of BDA (British Dietetic Association)
  • Degree in Nutrition and Dietetics
  • Knowledge of IT and RiO

Experience

Essential

  • Experience of working within the NHS and in a community setting
  • Experience in Learning Disabilities
  • Full UK driving license and access to your own car for work purposes
