  • Within their clinical setting, provide support to the team manager in delivering the current NHS Strategic Plan, the Trusts strategic goals, and the implementation of the Stockport Accreditation and Recognition Scheme, including effective leadership, setting, monitoring, and maintaining optimal care standards
  • Be visible and accessible in the clinical area for patients, relatives, and staff

  • Comply with NMC/Professional Registration and keep up to date with current nursing practices
  • Ensure accurate records are kept in accordance with CHS policy and NMC guidelines
  • Undertake regular mandatory training*
  • Qualified for RCCP (Registration Council for Clinical Physiologists BSc degree or HTEC and suitable equivalent experience P Higher academic qualification (including BSE Accreditation) (at Masters level or equivalent) Both effective independent and team worker PAbility to manage own workload, as well as that of others P Ability to train staff in post holders specialist field P Ability to innovate practice developments and advances in the field of echocardiography Good analytical and judgmental skills PBasic computer literacy to the level required for routine use of clinical systems PAbility to cope with the pressures and stresses of the daily demands of a front-line clinical-technical service
  • *Depending on the Trust, you may require variable additional certification and skills.
