Main duties of the job
We are looking for Emergency Care Assistants with a Frec 4 qualification as a minimum to work with us on HDU vehicles. CERAD/ Blue light qualifications are very desirable.
Working alongside OMS clinicians you will be assisting with conveying patients between hospitals and with urgent hospital admissions and referrals. You will provide clinical and holistic care to patients in line with your training and competency. You will wotj in accordance with OMS procedures and protocols.
There is also the opportunity to assist with the event medical provision element of OMS.
We are offering 12 hour shifts over 7 days and are able to be very flexible.

This will include ensuring that an appropriate level of monitoring and treatment is maintained while a patient is in your care.

- Full UK Manual Driving Licence ( No more than 3 penalty points) Minimum application age is 21
- 3 GCSE's at Grade C (4) or above including English and Maths
- Patient facing experience
- Excellent communication skills
- Be based within reasonable commuting distance of OMS unit base in Gloucestershire
- Demonstrate awareness of equality and diversity in the working environment and surrounding community
- Experience of working in a team environment
