Finance Assistant

Job summary

Breckland Alliance Primary Care Network has an opportunity for a finance assistantto join our busy practice support team and assist in the smooth delivery of excellent patient care. This role is offeredon a part-time basis, for 15 hours per week, on a fixed-term 12-month maternity cover.

Main duties of the job

The main responsibilities of the role include:

  • Processing supplier invoices and ensuring appropriate authorisation
  • Maintaining the purchase ledger and supporting payment runs
  • Reconciling bank accounts, credit cards, and petty cash using QuickBooks
  • Recording customer payments and inputting claims
  • Maintaining accurate electronic financial records and filing systems
  • Assisting with payroll journals and partner drawings
  • Providing cover for the Finance Officer when required
  • Supporting general finance administration as needed
