Prescription Clerk/Receptionist

Job summary
Walton Medical Centre are looking for an individual to work in a team environment undertaking processing patient prescription requests and working in our reception area. The total hours for this role are 25.5 hours per week working across both areas.
Interviews will be carried out for successful applicants on receipt of application, and we reserve the right to retract the advert if a suitable person is found before the end date. We are looking for a prescriptions clerk / receptionist to join our busy practice team and help make a positive impact on our local community.

About us
Walton Medical is based in the seaside town of Walton on the Naze in north-east Essex.
There is a wide socio-economic and demographic served within our area which will provide an interesting and varied case mix.
You will be joining an enthusiastic team of clinicians and administrators. The clinical team consists of 2 Partners, 2 Salaried GPs, ANPs, Practice Nurses and GPAs .
You will be well supported with on-going professional development (training support, CPD and peer support). The role will contribute to the improving quality of care of our patients of the practice.
