Job summary

Breckland Alliance PCN is looking to appoint an experienced Primary Care Network Business Managerto support our organisation on a part-time basis, for the right candidate we can be flexible with hours and days.

Main duties of the job

  • Supporting the Clinical Director and PCN Board to shape and deliver the PCNs purpose, priorities and strategic direction.
  • Developing and implementing PCN business and development plans, including responding to national/ICB policy and contractual changes.
  • Coordinating day-to-day PCN operational activity across member practices, including effective meeting structures, communications and decision-making processes.
  • Maintaining governance systems, including risk register and business continuity arrangements, and supporting quality improvement.
  • Supporting financial oversight, internal controls, claims and mandatory returns; contributing to business cases and funding applications.
  • Building strong relationships with member practices and external partners (ICB, trusts, local authority, voluntary sector), acting as a professional point of contact for the PCN.
  • Ensuring compliance with information governance requirements including GDPR and local IG procedures.
  • Promoting equality, diversity and inclusion across PCN activity and supporting safe, fair and accessible service delivery.

The Breckland Alliance Primary Care NetworkcomprisesGroveSurgery,School Lane Surgery and Watton Medical Practice. The Alliance was formed in 2019, working together to deliver high quality, sustainable primary health care to the population of Thetford, Watton andthe surrounding area and currently serves a total practice patient list of approximately 45,000.

We have recently expanded the role of our Alliance and own a provider company which focuses on clinical research and the delivery of non-primary care NHS services. Additionally, we sharea number ofstaff and processes across our Alliance.
