Highlands Surgery is delighted to offer an exciting opportunity for a friendly and organised administrator to join our welcoming and supportive practice team. You will play a key role in helping our busy practice run smoothly, contributing directly to the delivery of high-quality care for our patients.
This is a part-time position working 25 to 30 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with flexible working hours available, making it an excellent opportunity to balance work with other commitments. Main duties of the job
- Undertaking a variety of administrative duties including the provision of administration support to clinical staff and other members of the practice team.
- Data entry and read coding of relevant patient information and medical data into the clinical system.
- Scanning patient information into computerised records, including medical documents, hospital records and letters, as necessary.
- Allocating workflow for review by doctors or other health professionals.
- Processing practice post and emails.
- Registering new patients.
- Covering reception, as and when required.
- Handling enquiries efficiently.
