Job summary

The Writtle Surgery in Chelmsford are looking to welcome a reliable and organised medical secretary to join our team on a part-time basis. Working days will be Monday to Friday.

This role is perfect for someone who enjoys working in a busy GP surgery, supporting clinicians with the smooth running of administrative function.

Main duties of the job

  • Audio and copy typing of clinical correspondence
  • Maintaining accurate patient records and ensuring confidentiality
  • Supporting clinicians with administrative tasks
  • Liaising with hospitals, external agencies and patients
  • Assisting with appointment-related queries as needed

About us

The Writtle Surgery is a 3 partner semi-rural dispensing practice of approximately 8,000 patients. We have 3 salaried GPs, and a fully staffed team including practice nurses, dispensers, secretaries and administrators, clinical pharmacists and receptionists.
