Dispenser Counter Assistant

Job summary

Botesdale Health Centre are looking for a dispenser counter assistant to join their busy pharmacy team. The position is offered on a part-time basis for 18.5 hours per week, workingMonday, Tuesdays and every other Saturday morning, 9am - 12pm.

Main duties of the job

  • Dealing with enquires either face to face, or over the phone
  • Requesting repeat medications on the clinical system
  • Ordering stock
  • Handing out prescriptions
  • Ensuring payments are taken and processed for prescriptions/forms are completed correctly

About us

We are a rural GMS 10,100 patient surgery with 4 partners, 5 salaried GPs and a fantastic clinical and practice team with an on-site dispensary. We are located in a modern, recently extended surgery with community nurses located on site as well as an X-ray suite and glorious surrounding countryside.
