Advanced Nurse Practitioner

Job summary

Colne Medical Centre is looking to recruit an enthusiastic and experienced advanced nurse practitioner to join our friendly team, in our well-established practice in Brightlingsea. The position is for 30-37.5 hours per week and offers an ideal opportunity at any stage of your career.

Main duties of the job

• Manage daily surgeries, telephone consultations and telephone triage
• Assess, diagnose and treat patients with a range of acute and non-acute medical conditions, initiating direct referrals as appropriate
• Prescribe medication as defined by current legislative framework and practice policy
• Visit patients either in their own home or in a care home environment
