Practice Manager

Job summary

Swanwood Partnership are a friendly, forward-thinking, partner-led GP surgery based in Wickford, Essex, serving a patient population of just under 7,000. Due to a recent reshuffle, we are looking for an enthusiastic and hands-on practice manager to join our experienced team on a part-time basis for 24 hours per week, flexible hours can be discussed. We are looking for someone who can help us build on our strengths and support our continued growth, someone who enjoys working with people and can keep things running smoothly behind the scenes. You will need to be comfortable leading a team with warmth and confidence.

Main duties of the job

• Overseeing the day-to-day running of the practice
• Supporting and leading our admin and clinical teams
• Managing HR, staff training, and development
• Looking after the financial side budgets, payroll, and reporting
• Ensuring we stay compliant with CQC and NHS requirements
• Helping us meet QOF and Enhanced Service targets
• Working closely with our PCN, ICB, and other local partners
• Bringing fresh ideas to improve how we work and care for our patients
