Medical Administrator

Job summary

Newport Pagnell Medical Centre has an opportunity for a medical administrator to join our busy practice support team and assist in the smooth delivery of excellent patient care. This role is offered on a part time basis for 20 hours per week over four days and will mainly be based from our Willen site, but you may be asked to work shifts at Newport Pagnell Medical Centre or at our Kingfisher site.

Main duties of the job

  • Register new patients referred to community clinics.
  • Prepare clinics for community services.
  • Answer telephone calls within the office.
  • Typing skills and medical terminology knowledge would be an advantage.
  • Covering reception, as and when required.
  • Handling enquiries efficiently.
