Job summary

North Chelmsford Healthcare Centre/Beaulieu Healthcare Centre are seeking a proactive receptionist to cover a 12 month maternity contract. This position is offered on a part-time basis for 18 hours per week. This role will involve working across both of our Chelmsford sites: North Chelmsford Healthcare Centre and our soon to open branch surgery, Beaulieu Healthcare Centre.

Hours are;

• Monday: 8:00am - 2:00pm
• Tuesday: 8:00am - 2:00pm
• Friday: 2.00pm - 8pm

We are seeking an applicant with excellent people skills to join our friendly team across our Chelmsford sites. A comprehensive 3-week induction will be provided to support your onboarding and success in the role.

Main duties of the job

• Handling patient queries via phone, email, in person
• Assistingthe triage doctor as part ofour triage team
• Processing prescription requests
• Arranging home visits
• Managing card and cash payments from patients
• Overseeing waiting lists and follow-up appointments
• Supporting clinicians and other staff with day-to-day tasks
