Advanced Nurse Practitioner

Job summary

We have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and pro-active advanced nurse practitioner to join Rowhedge and the University of Essex Medical practice. The role is offered on a part-time basis, working 3 days per week, approximately 22.5 hours. The successful candidate will be working alongside a multi-disciplinary general practice team to meet the needs of the patient, supporting the delivery of policy procedures.

The advanced practitioner should be able to manage clinical cases and to be able to deal with presenting patient needs within a primary care setting.

Main duties of the job

• Initial history taking
• Clinical assessment
• Diagnosis, treatment and evaluation of care.
• Contact with patients is by telephone or face to face appointments in the surgery
