Trainee Nursing Associate

Job summary

Two Rivers Medical Centre located in Ipswich is looking to recruit a trainee nurse associate, to support our clinical nursing team and improve our patient services within our practice. This role is offered on a full-time basis days.

Main duties of the job

  • Carry out basic observations (blood pressure, pulse, temperature, oxygen saturation, height, weight BMI)
  • Undertake phlebotomy, ECG's, and wound care (following training and competency assessment)
  • Support chronic disease management clinic (e.g., diabetes, asthma, and hypertension) under supervision
  • Administer vaccinations and immunisations (once trained and assessed as competent)
  • Provide support with NHS Health Checks and Health promotion activities
  • Ensure Infection prevention and control procedures are followed at all times
