Main duties of the job

• Make professional, autonomous decisions in relation to presenting problems.
• Screen patients for disease-risk factors and early signs of illness.
• Develop care plans for health in line with current practice protocols.
• Provide health education.
• Record clear consultation notes to agreed standards.
• Collect data for audit purposes and comply with QOF requirements.
• Deliver enhanced services.
• Compile and issue computer-generated acute and repeat prescriptions
• Provide all general duties and responsibilities associated with a GP working within primary care.

We are a semi-rural GMS practice dedicated to serving our 16,800 diverse patient population. Our experienced multi-disciplinary clinical team includes 5 GP Partners, 1 Salaried GP, 2 Nurse Practitioners, 2 Paramedics, 5 Practice Nurses, 3 Healthcare Assistants, a Clinical Pharmacist, and a large highly committed administrative staff fostering a truly collaborative approach to patient care.
