Job summary

Ranworth Surgery located in Clacton, are looking to recruit an organised and professional receptionist on a part-time basis for 20 hours a week. The days and hours can be discussed at interview. Reporting to the senior receptionist, this busy role offers a wide range of reception and administrative duties and the provision of general support to the multidisciplinary team.

Main duties of the job

  • Greeting and directing patients.
  • Carrying out patient registrations.
  • Booking appointments, maintaining and monitoring the appointment system.
  • Processing of information (electronic and hard copy) and assisting patients as required.
  • Acting as a point of contact for patients, the distribution of information, messages and enquiries for the clinical team.
  • Liaising with multidisciplinary team members and external agencies such as secondary care and community service providers.
