Job summary
Blandford Medical Centre is a busy dispensing practice looking to recruit a dispenser within our team of 5.
Due to increased workload we are recruiting for a part time staff member for 20 hours per week, working on the following days:
Monday - 5 hours (flexible)
Tuesday and Friday 9am-6pm
Main duties of the job
- Dealing with telephone queries from patients, care homes and pharmacies
- Actioning prescription requests and issuing prescriptions
- Dispensing medication
- Actioning discharge summaries and changing medications
- Ordering medication and stock control
- Ensure patients medication needs are met
