Lead Workflow Administrator

Job summary

Haverhill Family Practice are looking for a lead workflow administrator to join our practice on a part-time basis for 25 hours a week, Monday to Friday 9am to 2pm. Reporting to the practice operations manager, this role will be key in assisting them to ensure the smooth and efficient running of the workflow department. We would welcome applications from organised, adaptable and friendly individuals.

Main duties of the job

  • Overseeing day-to-day workflow processes and ensuring consistent service delivery
  • Supporting and guiding team members as needed
  • Co-ordinating and covering team absences including managing the holiday rota
  • Managing annual leave for the team
  • Conducting appraisals and providing feedback and development support
  • Liaising closely with the GP workflow lead to ensure the department remains up-to-date and aligned with clinical priorities
  • Sort and date stamp all incoming patient-related mail
  • Process all incoming emails
  • Dealing with queries relating to coding
