Job summary
Newport Pagnell Medical Centre are currently looking for a handyperson/caretaker to work across three of our sites, ensuring both our premises are tidy and of good repair. This position is offered on a part-time basis for 15 hours per week and ideally the successful post-holder will be able to work flexibly, working each morning and at evenings and weekends if required. You will be working at Newport Pagnell, Willen and Kingfisher locations.
Main duties of the job
- Making minor repairs.
- General maintenance of the premises.
- Periodic testing and fault reporting.
- Porterage and messenger duties.
- Dealing with deliveries.
- Adhering to the practices health and safety policies.
- Lifting and ladder work.

Newport Pagnell Medical Centre is a large GP training practice committed to providing excellent primary health care services with a strong emphasis on staff training and development. Based in excellent premises, our committed teams deliver a wide range of general medical services.
We are a large training practice based in the town of Newport Pagnell with another surgery in the Willen area.
The practice nursing team forms part of our integrated nursing team working alongside our community nursing team, community matrons, urgent care team and specialist nursing team.
