Job summary
Mount Farm are seeking a salaried GP to join our friendly, supportive, and well-established practice team. The successful post-holder will undertake a variety of duties associated with being a GP,including surgery and telephone consultations, queries, signing repeat prescriptions and dealing with paperwork, reports and correspondence.

About us
Mount Farm Surgery is an innovative and professional teaching practice in Suffolk, located on the outskirts of the cathedral town of Bury St. Edmunds with close links to the A14. Our practice team consists of 10 GPs plus a dedicated clinical team including GP trainees, ECP, 4 nurses, and 2 HCAs. We have a dedicated management team, plus a large team of other administrative staff. Our membership of Bury St Edmunds PCN ensures we have an extended team which includes a paramedic home visiting service, on site clinical pharmacists, a practice based social prescriber and care co-ordinator.

- Good understanding and experience of chronic disease management, and primary prevention and screening services;

- Awareness of and compliance with all relevant practice policies and guidelines, e.g. prescribing, confidentiality, data protection, health and safety;
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills in a confidential manner.
