Support Service Administrator

Job summary

GP Primary Choice are looking to welcome a general practice support administrator to work on a part-time basis for 30 hours per week. The role will work within our north east Essex GP practices, across Colchester and Tendring, alongside two senior project managers. They will provide key administrative support and understand where operational improvements can be made.

We would welcome applications from organised, adaptable and friendly individuals who are keen to help us provide high levels of patient care.

Main duties of the job

• Provide comprehensive administrative and hands on clerical support to the project managers.
• Liaise closely with members of the team ensuring effective communication.
• Work within the practices to support staff with operational improvements implemented by project managers.
• Complete practice audits to maximise resources within a practice to meet capacity and demand.
• Write project plans/proformas to provide to CEO, COO, ICB and GP practices.
• Manage and maintain project action logs.
• Update or initiate practice policies and protocols where required.
• Manage emails.
