Job summary

At Swanwood Partnership in Wickford Essex, we're on the lookout for a capable, confident practice nurse to join our primary care team. This is a part-time role (24-28 hours per week), and we need someone who's ready to hit the ground running. You must be experienced in the full scope of general practice nursing duties

Main duties of the job

  • Chronic disease management (Asthma, COPD, Diabetes, etc.)
  • Cervical cytology
  • Childhood and adult immunisations
  • Travel health advice and vaccinations
  • Contraceptive advice and support
  • NHS Health Checks
  • Infection control & health promotion
  • Support for QOF and enhanced services

  • Current NMC registration with an active PIN.

Experience

  • Proven experience in a general practice or primary care setting
  • Up-to-date with current protocols, PGDs, and best practices
  • A team player with great communication skills

  • Flexible, reliable, and professional
