Job summary
We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic and self-motivated qualified practitioner who is registered with an appropriate body to work as part of our Urgent Care Team here at Newport Pagnell Medical Centre. The hours of work will be a range of shifts between the hours of 0800 and 1830 Monday to Friday.
The successful candidate will deliver minor illness clinics as part of the Urgent Care Team, providing: assessment, treatment, screening, health education services and advice to patients. You will have experience and competence in managing a General Practice caseload including chronic case management, dealing with minor illness and injury and experience in diagnosing, prescribing and referring.
Main duties of the job
- deliver minor illness clinics as part of the urgent care team.
- Working closely with GP colleagues, the minor illness clinician will deliver minor illness clinics.
- Providing assessment, treatment, screening, health education services and advice to patients.
- Long term condition case management.
- Dealing with minor illness and injury.
- Diagnosing, prescribing and referring.
