Job summary

Specsavers in Harlow are recruiting an optometrist to deliver an eye examination and contact lens service. We are happy to consider applications on a full and part-time basis, the role does include Sunday working.Youwill be joining an experienced team, which consists of 5 optometrists, 3 dispensing opticians and 1 contact lens optician. The successful candidate will be highly professional in the test room and work with the store team to deliver the highest clinical and customer service standards, meeting both patient needs and achieving business objectives.

Main duties of the job

• Carry out eye examinations in accordance with company procedures and NHS regulations.
• Ensure that any referral letters are written and dispatched promptly.
• Attend and participate in team meetings.
• Maintain up-to-date clinical and professional knowledge.
• Perform any other duties as may from time to time be reasonably requested by the senior optometrist.
• Be an ambassador for the Specsavers brand at all times.
