Job summary

Colchester Orthodontic Centre is looking to recruit orthodontic nurse ona full-timebasis, into their team. Working within a busy environment, the role involves assisting orthodontists in providing safe, tailored treatment plans for patients.

Main duties of the job

  • Procedure preparation.
  • Assisting with procedures.
  • Interacting with patients regarding their orthodontic care.
  • Patient education regarding procedures and oral hygiene.
  • Maintaining a clean and organized clinical environment.
  • Answering any patient questions.
  • Disinfection and sterilisation of all the equipment.

Experience

  • Experience in orthodontic or dental nursing.
  • Knowledge of orthodontic procedures and terminology.
  • Ability to work well in a team.
  • Attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
  • Experience with patient education and care.
  • Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) or Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS).
