Job summary

Following the promotion of our assistant practice manager, Trinity and Bowthorpe Medical Practice is looking to welcome a full time practice supervisor to work36 hours a week, across 4 days .

As a busy and dynamic GP surgery, with two sites, teaching future medical students and undertaking NHS research, there is ample opportunity to learn and develop within this role.

The role requires versatility, ambition and enthusiasm from you, there is training, support and a full trajectory towards practice management.

Main duties of the job

  • Human resources managing individuals, teams, and workflow through rotas, KPIs, appraisals, rotas, annual leave, recruitment, offboarding and onboarding.
  • Operations applying clinical rotas, monitoring clinical workflow and day to day staff queries.
  • Safeguarding understanding its importance, audits, and meeting attendance.
  • Information governance audits, checks and data breach reporting and investigation.
  • Health and safetyaudits, checks, booking third party contractors and staff training.
  • Infection control audits, checks and staff training.
  • Clinical governance meetings, significant event reporting and investigation, audits, patient experience and engagement through complaints and compliments processing, maintaining up to date SOPs and policies.
  • Understand the CQC framework, compliance, and quality improvement.
