Job summary
Fairbrook Medical Centre located in Borehamwood, is looking to appoint an experienced business and compliance manager to play a vital role in the smooth business operations and compliance within the centre. This is a newly created position, offering the opportunity to influence key operational processes and contribute to the overall efficiency of our practice.
This position is offered on a part-time basis working 28-30 hours per week working Monday to Thursday, but we are open to discussion on these days/hours. If you are an experienced manager looking for a new role, then we would love to hear from you.
Main duties of the job
- Implement necessary contract adjustments for GPs and communicate updates to relevant staff.
- Draft and update practice policies and/or procedures to ensure compliance with regulations and best practices.
- Ensure services meet regulatory standards and patient expectations.
- Lead the preparation for CQC inspections and ensure continuous compliance.
- Handle patient and staff complaints, ensuring resolution is timely and effective.
- Oversee communication and document sharing via TeamNet within the practice.
- Plan and execute team-building initiatives to enhance collaboration and morale.
- Manage and expand the practices social media profiles (e.g., Facebook, Twitter, Instagram), ensuring alignment with practice policies and regulations.
- Regularly update the practices website to keep it current and compliant with regulatory standards.
