Job summary
Fressingfield Medical Centre has a fantastic opportunity for an experienced practice nurse to joining their highly effective, friendly and supportive practice team on a full or part-time basis. Hours can be negotiable, but the role requires working various weekday shifts between 8:30am and 6:30pm, including working on a Monday.
We are looking for a highly motivated and enthusiastic team player who can demonstrate high standards of clinical excellence and has experience working in a general practice environment. You will be experienced, dynamic and will have the drive and vision to shape the development of the role.
Main duties of the job
- Wound care + dopplers.
- Cervical smears.
- Chronic disease management
- Immunisations (eg. travel/childhood/flu/covid).
About us
We are a rural dispensing practice with over 6,000 patients between two sites situated 4 miles apart. Our clinical team comprises of three full-time GPs, two nurse practitioners, five practice nurses & HCA & phlebotomists. We have a dedicated team of support staff.
We are CQC rated as outstanding for the responsive domain and good overall. We have an active and engaged patient group who help us shape the service we provide to our patients.
