Job summary

The Colte Partnership has an exciting new opportunity for a qualified part time dispenser to join our friendly and busy dispensary at Riverside Health Centre, on a part time basis for 15 hours per week: Thursday 12.30pm-6.30pm & Friday 8.30am-6.30pm.

Main duties of the job

• Issuing of repeat prescriptions paper and EPS from online/email/ paper requests.
• Monitoring of medication reviews.
• Dealing with all patient enquiries and liaising with clinical team.
• Preparing and dispensing medication.
• NHS script and non NHS fees.
• Endorsing prescriptions and preparing scripts for PPD submission.
• Ordering, accepting deliveries and checking in of stock.
• Cashing up the till.
• Following/monitoring/writing SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures) in line with good practice and DSQS (Dispensing Services Quality Scheme).

You may on occasion be required to provide extra dispensary cover during holiday or sickness.
