Job summary

An exciting partnership opportunity to join Ardleigh Surgery part of the Colte Super Partnership. We are ideally looking for 6 to 8 clinical sessions flexible spread of days and sessions to suit.

We are a friendly, well respected, semi-rural GMS dispensing practice with a main site in Ardleigh and a satellite surgery in the picturesque constable country village of Dedham serving 7550 patients. There is a wide socio-economic demographic served within this area which will provide an interesting and varied case mix. The role will contribute to improving the quality of care of our patients across the network of practices.

Our experienced clinical team comprises of 3 GP partners, 1 salaried GP, 2 ANPs, 4 nurses, 2 HCAs and is supported by an in-house physio, clinical pharmacist, and a GP assistant as well as further remote pharmacy support. Our wider team also includes a care coordinator, care advisor and social prescriber. We have fantastic administration support with experienced medical secretaries and a full-time clinical coding team/workflow manager with highly efficient workflow optimisation. We have a busy dispensary with 4 dispensers. Our whole team is managed by an experienced practice manager.

Ardleigh is located on the Essex Suffolk border & is surrounded by beautiful countryside, made famous by artists including Constable, the countryside surrounding Ardleigh is designated as an area of outstanding natural beauty. The historic market town of Manningtree & the village of Dedham are within easy walking distance. The area features some of the finest restaurants in Essex & enjoys a prime coastal location & is on the edge of the river Stour.

We are close to the A12, A14, Stansted airport, Harwich ferry terminal & Greater Anglia train station. It is 1 hour to London Liverpool Street.

The Colte Partnership:

In June 2017 the Colte Partnership was formed consisting of 9 local GP Medical practices across Colchester & Tendring caring for approx. 95,000 patients. We also work as three collaborative Primary Care Networks (PCNs) which span across Colchester & Tendring:

Mersea Island Medical Practice, Tiptree Medical Centre, Rowhedge Medical Centre;
