Job summary

Guildhall Surgery in Clarehas a fantastic opportunity for aproactive, positive, supportive and reliable qualified practice nurse to join us and our current nursing team. We are open to interest from newly registered practice nurses or specialist practice nurses with particular interest in chronic disease management. The role is offered on a full time basis for 37.5 hours per week but job share would also be considered.

Main duties of the job

This is an exciting time for us in general practice and as we continue to improve and adapt we have some exciting opportunities ahead. You will be expected to coverall aspects of clinical nursing in relation to wound care, cervical cytology, vaccinations, immunisations and more. Specialist nurses' extra responsibilities include long term condition reviews, in particular respiratory and diabetic management. We are always keen to support self-development to enable individuals to reach their own personal goals.

The Guildhall Surgery is an innovative, friendly and forward thinking practice, located in the lovely historic town of Clare in Suffolk. General Practice is changing at pace and we see this as a positive and opportunistic challenge.

The practice has approximately 5,300 patients and has been rated Good by the Care Quality Commission, with consistent and positive GP patient survey results which demonstrate the strong patient centred focus and efficiency of our team.
