Job summary
Join our Lung Cancer Screening team and help deliver a high-quality, lifesaving service across mobile locations. You will work as part of a 7day service, including bank holidays, and follow a standard 12hour shift pattern while supporting early diagnosis of lung cancer and other respiratory conditions.
Main duties of the job
- Run virtual and face-to-face nurse-led clinics, assessing patient risk and referring high-risk individuals for Low-Dose CT.
- Deliver high-quality respiratory assessments and offer smoking cessation support as part of the screening pathway.
- Provide effective health promotion and tailored patient education.
- Recognise and escalate safeguarding concerns, red-flag symptoms, or emergencies.
- Maintain required accreditations (IRMER on induction; ARTP for spirometry where needed).
