Job summary

Location: Middlewich (Hybrid 1 day per week onsite) Join our growing and innovative analytics team and help shape the future of our clinical and information services. We support Diabetic Eye Screening Programmes (DESP) and Child Health Information Services (CHIS) across the UK, improving data quality, strengthening reporting, and helping healthcare professionals deliver better outcomes for patients. Based in our Middlewich office, you will play a key role in transforming our reporting landscape as we move our systems to the cloud. We are seeking candidates who live within a onehour drive of Middlewich, as regular collaboration in the office is an important part of this role. We have both permanent and fixedterm opportunities available for this role.

Main duties of the job

As a Senior Data Analyst, you will: Support the transition to cloudbased reporting, especially within Microsoft Azure Maintain and enhance reporting using advanced SQL and Python Troubleshoot and resolve complex data issues Become a subjectmatter expert in our flagship application, HI Hub, producing adhoc reports as required Respond to and manage datarelated support requests Develop cloudbased dashboards, KPIs and data quality reporting Present complex performance insights clearly and confidently Validate report definitions, reference data and clinical coding Support colleagues through training, coaching and guidance on interpreting analytical outputs Contribute to audits, surveys, research and new analytical methodologies Ensure compliance with GDPR, NHS standards and data protection legislation Continuously improve and document analytical processes Drive service improvement through accurate, reliable information

You are a collaborative, curious and detaildriven analyst who enjoys solving problems and improving processes. You communicate clearly, remain calm under pressure, and feel confident supporting and mentoring junior team members. You enjoy working independently while being an active, supportive part of the team.

You Will Have
  • A 2:1 degree in Computer Science, Informatics or a related subject, or 5+ years experience in data or information services
  • Highlevel SQL skills, including inserts and updates
  • Advanced Python skills, ideally including automation using PyCharm
  • Strong working knowledge of reporting tools such as Power BI
  • A good understanding of cloudbased reporting, especially Azure
  • (Bonus) Experience working within healthcare information services
