Nurse Lung Cancer Screening Programme
Locations: Lambeth, Southwark, Lewisham, Greenwich, Bexley & Bromley
Salary: £38,000 £42,000 + £4,200 Car Allowance
Shifts: 8am - 8pm (12hour shifts), flexibility required Monday - Sunday including bank holidays
About the Role
Join our Lung Cancer Screening (LCS) team and help deliver a highquality service focused on early detection and improved patient outcomes. You'll work across key boroughs, providing mobile support in areas where early diagnosis makes the biggest impact.
Main duties of the job
What You'll Do
- Lead virtual and face-to-face nurse led clinics and assess patients using set criteria
- Refer high-risk patients for Low-Dose CT and deliver respiratory assessments
- Provide health promotion and smoking cessation support
- Identify safeguarding concerns and manage red-flag presentations
- Maintain required accreditations (IRMER; ARTP where needed) and support day-to-day clinical admin
About You- First-level Registered Nurse ideally with 2+ years Band 5 respiratory experience
- Strong communicator with sound clinical judgement
- Confident using multiple IT systems
- Committed to integrity, inclusion and ongoing development
- Holds a clean driving licence and willing to undertake LCS specific training
