Job summary
The PET-CT Services Manager will lead the operational delivery, development, and performance of static, relocatable, and mobile PET-CT services across the UK. This senior role combines clinical expertise, operational leadership, and commercial awareness to ensure safe, high-quality, patient-focused diagnostic imaging services. You will work closely with PET-CT Operational Managers, clinical teams, NHS stakeholders, and internal business partners to drive service improvement, maintain regulatory compliance, and support business growth. This is a home-based role requiring national travel.
Main duties of the job
Lead and manage PET-CT services across multiple sites, ensuring high standards of clinical care, operational efficiency, and patient satisfaction.
Oversee budgets, KPIs, and contractual obligations, driving both performance and profitability.
Provide clinical leadership, ensuring compliance with CQC, IR(ME)R, IRR, ARSAC, and other regulatory standards.
Develop and motivate multidisciplinary teams, supporting recruitment, induction, training, and professional development.
Build and maintain strong relationships with NHS Trusts, commissioners, private providers, and internal stakeholders.
Lead service development initiatives, clinical governance, audit activities, and patient experience improvement programs.
Support business development opportunities and strategic planning for PET-CT services.

Working closely with PET-CT Operational Managers, clinical teams, NHS stakeholders and internal business partners, youll set the vision for the division while ensuring services are safe, compliant, efficient and financially strong.
