Operations Support Manager

Job summary

As an Operations Support Manager, you will play a pivotal role in delivering a high-quality Ultrasound service to both NHS and private patients. Your focus will be on maintaining safe, effective, and consistent care across your region, contributing to the overall patient experience and commercial success of the business. This is a leadership role where you will manage the day-to-day operational activities of the clinical support team, ensuring the smooth delivery of services while driving a culture of excellence, continuous improvement, and staff engagement. Youll work closely with the Operations Manager, Clinical Leads, and your fellow Operations Support Managers for shared success. The role is predominantly remote, with visits to InHealth sites in London. This role is a 12-month fixed term contract. The closing date for applications is, Friday 25th July, and we plan to hold interviews w.c. 21st July and 28th July.

Main duties of the job

Lead and manage the clinical support team, ensuring the delivery of safe, high-quality, patient-focused care Oversee the daily operations of the ultrasound service across your region Plan and manage clinical team rotas, ensuring sufficient resource availability Recruit, onboard, and retain clinical support staff, including leading induction programmes Conduct appraisals and support personal development plans to foster team growth Promote employee engagement through feedback, mentorship, and team-building Monitor and improve performance, sharing insights on patient satisfaction, financials, and KPIs Maintain accurate team records including training, development, and appraisals Handle escalated employee relations issues, supporting with disciplinary and grievance processes Provide hands-on administrative support when necessary Ensure completion of operational audits and month-end procedures Manage stock levels and ensure timely ordering of consumables and supplies Uphold patient dignity and respect cultural and spiritual beliefs at all times Ensure compliance with ISO standards and internal information security policies Report incidents and complaints according to company procedures Champion a clean, safe, and welcoming working environment
